MY WARD MY WORD MY CITY VOTE!
How We're Reaching You: Watch Elect runs a seven-day-a-week campaign on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, sharable WhatsApp material for every district, and radio advertising in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa, all carrying the Watch Elect campaign jingle. Civic education sessions and short videos support facilitators, youth ambassadors, church goers and other faith and non faith communities, and field workers on the ground across all six districts across the Western Cape.
Watch Elect is partnered with the Western Cape Council of Churches (WCCC) and Kagiso Trust to run this campaign across all six Western Cape districts: City of Cape Town, Cape Winelands, West Coast, Overberg, Garden Route and Central Karoo. Together we're building on four things every community already has: belonging, ownership, responsibility and pride, turning them into registered voters and, on 4 November 2026, into votes cast.
An important moment to encourage the youth of today and remind them of the sacrifices of the youth of 1976.
Your Turn: Check your registration status and find your voting station at elections.org.za. Follow @watchelect on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok for updates from all six districts. My Ward. My Word. My City. VOTE!
